18-Year-Old Youth Jumps from Mountain Edge Over iPhone Demand, Parents Also Jump to Save Him! Tragic Death of Parents, Viral Video

**Maharashtra:** An 18-year-old youth took a drastic decision after arguing with his parents over buying an iPhone. In an attempt to save him, his parents jumped off the mountain as well. The tragic incident resulted in the death of three family members. This incident in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra has created a stir. A video of the incident has already gone viral on social media.


According to police sources, the deceased youth's name is Kunal Chandgude. Around 10 AM on Friday, he had an argument with his parents over the demand for a mobile phone. After that, he went to a mountain in the Waluj MIDC area. Upon learning of this, his parents also reached there.


The police and fire brigade were informed at the scene. Local residents also tried to convince Kunal. A rescue team attempted to set up safety nets below the mountain to bring him down safely. However, the youth kept changing his position repeatedly.


### ‘Take the iPhone 15 Pro’, yet he did not change his decision


In the viral video, Kunal is seen standing at the very edge of the mountain. Several people present are desperately trying to calm him down and persuade him to step back. In the video, one person is heard offering him an iPhone.


One person trying to convince the youth says that if he needs an iPhone, he will give it to him. Another person also mentions giving him an iPhone 15 Pro. But Kunal did not budge from his decision.

In the video, he is heard saying, **“Suicide is the only solution.”** A woman present, believed to be Kunal's mother, tries to convince him that ending life is not a solution to any problem. Others also request him to reconsider his decision.


### Parents Jumped to Save Their Son


After all attempts to manage the situation failed, Kunal jumped from the edge of the mountain. It is reported that without thinking about anything, his parents also jumped to save him. All three died after falling from the mountain.


The police recovered the bodies from the scene and sent them for further legal proceedings. The police are investigating the circumstances under which this tragic incident occurred.


The video of the incident has been posted from an X handle named ‘Sahil Patel’. After the video spread on social media, it has generated intense reactions among netizens. Many have expressed concern over the severity of the incident.
